A federal jury in Atlanta has awarded the parents of a deceased illegalimmigrant $472,511 in a wrongful death suit believed to be the first ofits kind in Georgia.
One of the plaintiffs’ lawyers, Atlanta sole practitioner Donald W. Singleton,says the plaintiffs couldn’t find evidence of another Georgia wrongfuldeath verdict awarded to an illegal alien.
