Marc Toberoff wasn’t allowed to watch television as a child. Now the Malibu entertainment lawyer is getting his revenge — and making a good living at it to boot.

Toberoff, who has represented several creators and writers of popular 1960s-era TV series, at the moment is engaged in a shootout at the OK Corral (otherwise known as L.A. federal district court) with CBS and Warner Bros. over Wild, Wild West. The motion picture takeoff on the old TV show has been mostly panned by critics but has still been raking in box-office dollars this summer.
