The two young music lawyers blanched as a roving photographer snapped their picture at a Beverly Hills soiree a couple of weeks ago. Normally, the tony Hotel Sofitel is one of those places where industry movers and shakers (and perhaps the occasional wannabe or two) go to see and be seen.

But not this couple, and not this evening. When the photographer asked for their business cards, the legal pair stammered, “No, please,” and darted off in the direction of the buffet line.
