A hearing was halted in a Georgia courtroom after the judge learned the man representing the defendant apparently was practicing without a license. After opening statements, an investigator told the judge that lawyer Robert Natale was not and never had been licensed in Georgia. Natale responded that he was a California attorney who had applied to the State Bar of Georgia for permission to handle the case. After the judge rescheduled the hearing, Natale "sort of bolted" from the courthouse.
