The Georgia Supreme Court has granted John Marshall Law School a deadline extension, keeping classes going at least through Aug. 31, 2003. In an order issued late Thursday, a court extended the date by which the school's students must graduate if they want to take the Georgia bar exam. Last month, the ABA's Council on Legal Education denied granting the school provisional accreditation by a tie vote. John Marshall Dean Robert J. D'Agostino says he is "very grateful to the court," for Thursday's decision.
