The Nation’s two leading on-line legal publishers ended up in federal court yesterday in a dispute over the continued use of the Shepard’s system for tracing case citations.
Lexis-Nexis sued West Group, charging that West’s on-line services have continued to use the Shepard’s name and marks after the expiration of its licensing agreement on July 1.
