These days, it seems everybody needs a lawyer–even the man upstairs. So Chicago’s Sidley & Austin has formed a 40-lawyer practice group to serve religious institutions.
Although industry practice groups are becoming more common, the firm’s lawyers said they believe theirs is the first to target churches and the organizations that they spawn, such as schools and hospitals.
