After two days of hearings in Boston last week, attorneys at Lieff, Cabraser, Heimann & Bernstein are awaiting word on what could be their first paycheck in the tobacco litigation.

Lieff, Cabraser and four other firms have asked an arbitration panel to award them close to $2 billion for their work in securing an $8 billion settlement for the state of Massachusetts.
