Aviation lawyer Arthur A. Wolk and the owners of WTXF Channel 29 settled the attorney’s libel lawsuit against the broadcaster, obviating a trial that would have begun today in Philadelphia Common Pleas Court, said Wolk’s lawyer, James E. Beasley of Beasley Casey & Erbstein.
Channel 29 has agreed to broadcast an apology on its “Ten O’Clock News” program on June 18, and there was an undisclosed monetary settlement, Beasley said.
