I read your article with great interest. As the divorced father of a now six-year-old girl, I wish that I would have had the resources to fight for custody of Miriam.

You seem to advocate returning to a time where mothers automatically retained custody of the minor children. Your position seems to be untenable unless you simultaneously admit that women and men are so fundamentally different that discrimination is acceptable is certain areas of our common existence. That, of course, is precisely what men have been saying in order to maintain differences in society until now.
