Calif. Court May Tweak Patent Rules With Help of Survey

Calling all patent attorneys. The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California wants to know if it should modify its 2-year-old rules governing patent litigation. The court is conducting a survey that has been mailed to more than 100 Northern District attorneys, judges and companies that have experience with the rules. The local rules survey was crafted by a committee of seven patent attorneys appointed by Chief Judge Marilyn Hall Patel.
