If the murderous rampage at Columbine High School gave congressional Democrats the leverage to force a series of gun control measures through the Senate last month, Republicans have found their own whipping boy: the entertainment industry.While public attention has centered almost exclusively on the Democrats’ successful assault on the gun lobby and the sudden deflation of its legendary clout, Hollywood too has been skewered.

Now, as the House Judiciary Committee prepares to take up the juvenile justice bill this week, the entertainment industry and its Washington advocates are on red alert.
