It goes without saying that when big corporate clients say jump, their law firms are inclined to ask how high. So when the powerful DuPont chemical giant decided to put pressure on outside counsel to step up minority hiring, one Southern California firm leaped at the chance to play a leading role.
This fall, Los Angeles-based McClintock, Weston, Benshoof, Rochefort, Rubalcava & MacCuish will co-sponsor with DuPont a third annual job fair for women and minority law school students. McClintock, Weston says DuPont’s commitment to diversity isn’t just a pie-in-the-sky target.
