Take, for example, Fred Randall Goynes, an inmate who sent horrific letters to U.S. District Judge Mary Lou Robinson of Amarillo, Potter County District Attorney Rebecca King and Amarillo criminal-defense lawyer Steven McKinzie, according to a May 10 opinion by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
