Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal has elected a dozen new partners and a senior managing director. As of April 1, Sharon Scribner Pearce, who specializes in government relations, has been named senior managing director in Washington. Five partners were elected in New York: John A. Bicks, who was of counsel in the corporate reorganization and bankruptcy practice; Jeffrey S. Geron, who was of counsel in the corporate group; David R. Baum, who was an associate in the litigation and intellectual property & technology practice groups; Andrea Sharetta, an associate in the tax group; and Ron B. Sitton, an associate in the corporate group who specializes in private equity funds and companies in media and telecommunications. Four partners were named in Chicago: Thomas J. Burton, who was an associate in patent prosecution, litigation and IP transactions; Wendy N. Enerson, an associate in securities litigation; Terance A. Gonsalves, an associate in commercial litigation; and Elizabeth Warren-Mikes, an associate in commercial leasing and real estate acquisitions. In Kansas City, Chris S. Heller, a corporate and financial transactional attorney, and James C. Neeld, a member of the real estate practice group, both associates, were named partners. In Los Angeles, Amadeo F. Cantu Jr., who was of counsel and specializes in real estate investments, was named partner.
