Three partners left Bingham McCutchen's San Francisco office on Monday for the San Francisco office of Washington, D.C., firm Arnold & Porter, with one, Trenton Norris, joining as managing partner. Norris, who was a summer associate at Arnold & Porter, says he was attracted by that firm's culture. While it pays competitively, Arnold & Porter is not for those obsessed with money, he says. The moves follow two Bay Area partner departures from Bingham in February and several last year.

Three partners left Bingham McCutchen‘s San Francisco office on Monday, adding to its growing list of departing litigators in the Bay Area.
The three partners — Trenton Norris, Angel Garganta and Monty Agarwal — joined one partner, one counsel and two associates in the San Francisco office of Washington, D.C., firm Arnold & Porter. Norris became the managing partner of the San Francisco office, thus joining the 25-member policy committee.
