Washington’s Dickstein Shapiro has expanded its national antitrust and financial services practices with additions of two partners in New York. Jay N. Fastow and Denise Kosineski Plunkett both join from New York’s Weil, Gotshal & Manges. They will focus on major antitrust and financial services litigation and related matters, including complex class action litigation. “This is a highly regarded and successful litigation team that brings great depth and breadth of antitrust and financial services experience to the firm,” Michael Nannes, the firm’s chairman, said in a news release. Fastow will serve as co-head of the firm’s antitrust & consumer protection practice and as a member of its strategic advisory group. Kosineski Plunkett’s practice encompasses a range of payment card and other financial services litigation. Dickstein Shapiro has more than 400 attorneys in three U.S. offices.
