NEW POSITIONS . . . Michelle R. Brown, Charles T. Haag and Steven D. Stennett have been named partners in Jones Day in Dallas, and Ruthie Nelson White has been named a partner in Houston. Brown is a member of the real estate practice; Haag is a member of the capital markets practice; Stennett is a member of the mergers and acquisitions practice; and White is a member of the labor and employment practice. . . . Barnes Jr., managing shareholder of Barnes & Harrington in Dallas, has received the law school’s first Distinguished Service Award. . . .
