Fulbright & Jaworski has continued expanding its Middle East practice by adding a partner and an associate and reassigning another partner from London. Litigator and corporate lawyer David Silver joins Fulbright as a partner in Dubai, where he will represent corporate, energy and finance clients. Silver, who spent the last decade working in Qatar, handles oil and gas and other international projects and transactions, as well as securitized lending. Partner David Moroney will split his time between Dubai and London and head the firm’s Middle East energy practice. Moroney has more than 35 years experience in structuring, negotiating and documenting oil and gas, electricity and mining projects, investments and related transactions. He has handled matters involving more than 50 countries and worked in Australia, the United Kingdom and Singapore. The firm also added associate Lyle Guard, who advises clients on transactions relating to corporate finance, corporate matters and emissions trading. Fulbright & Jaworski has nearly 1,000 lawyers in 16 locations.
