Almost three months after saying it will match Alston & Bird and raise first-year pay to $145,000 at the beginning of next year, King & Spalding has announced what it will be paying the rest of its Atlanta associates in January, as first reported last Friday on the legal tabloid blog, Above the Law.

King & Spalding’s new base pay scale ranges from $145,000 for first-years to $195,000 for seventh-years, with a bonus for those billing 2,050 hours or more that ranges from $7,500 for first-years to as much as $55,000 for seventh-years.
