Arnall Golden Gregory is bucking the trend of paying green associates more greenbacks.

The firm has announced that it will not raise first-year pay from $130,000 to $145,000 in January, a move made in August by Alston & Bird and reluctantly matched by several local competitors. When Alston’s raise, which is across the board, goes into effect at the beginning of next year, it will be the third for Atlanta’s big firms in two years.
