Attorneys for the Coca-Cola Co. are trying to use the guilty plea of class action king William Lerach to derail a seven-year-old securities fraud case against the soft drink giant.

In one of the few pleadings not sealed by U.S. District Senior Judge Willis B. Hunt Jr., who is presiding over the case in Atlanta, Coke lawyers accused Lerach of having engaged in tactics in the Atlanta case similar to those that Lerach and a former partner have admitted employing in other class action cases.
