BOSTON Foley Hoag picked up two international arbitration lawyers from Winston & Strawn for its Washington office. Ronald E.M. Goodman, the former co-head of the global international arbitration practice for the Chicago-based Winston & Strawn, joins Foley’s international litigation and arbitration practice. The Boston-based Foley represents foreign countries, state-owned companies and multinational corporations before international tribunals. Geraldine R. Fischer is moving from Winston & Strawn into Foley’s associate ranks. Both Goodman and Fischer have significant experience representing clients before the Washington-based International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes. Goodman’s practice also includes representing clients before all major international arbitration organizations, including the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law in Vienna, Austria.
