LOS ANGELES — Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton has launched a global climate change practice group. Randolph C. Visser and M. Elizabeth McDaniel, both real estate lawyers at the Los Angeles-based firm, will lead the new practice group, which encompasses about 50 lawyers in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, San Diego and Shanghai. The group focuses on a variety of climate change aspects, such as advocacy, regulatory compliance, carbon projects, project development, land use and litigation.
