BOSTON – Goulston & Storrs lured Mitchell N. Baron, the former chair of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius’ New York real estate group. Baron will be one of three New York attorneys for the 190-lawyer Boston-based Goulston, which is known for its extensive commercial real estate practice. Baron said he’s worked with Goulston lawyers on several transactions and noted the firm’s depth in commercial real estate. “This move is a perfect fit for me and my clients, and I am very enthusiastic about the continued growth of the New York office,” Baron said. Baron’s practice includes a wide range of real estate law, including: partnerships and joint ventures; real estate purchases, sales and exchanges; commercial leasing; development and institutional lending and investment. Goulston co-managing director Douglas Husid said Baron is an industry leader. “We’re confident that he will play a significant role in guiding our continued growth in New York and nationally,” Husid said.
