When calculating the latest round of associate salary increases, DLA Piper singled out one group of associates for a higher scale: patent litigators.
In a move away from lock-step compensation, those first-years — no matter what office they’re in — will be placed on the higher $160,000 scale, while other California associates start at $145,000.
