Gaining on traditional pro bono stalwarts Morrison & Foerster and Heller Ehrman, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher are ramping up pro bono efforts themselves. Last year Gibson Dunn almost doubled the hours it devotes to pro bono. And Morgan Lewis for the first time assigned a full-time pro bono counsel.
