Six government contracts attorneys and litigators from Holland & Knight’s mid-Atlantic offices are jumping to Arnold & Porter. The group includes six members (or partners) from Holland & Knight’s Washington and McLean, Va., offices. Mark Colley, Craig Holman, David Metzger and Paul Pompeo join Arnold & Porter as members, and Kara Daniels and Kristen Ittig join as counsel. Metzer will work at Arnold & Porter’s Northern Virginia office and the rest will work in Washington, D.C. “With the addition of this deep group of talented lawyers, we will have one of the country’s premier government contracts groups in place to meet client needs,” said the firm’s chairman Thomas Milch. Holland & Knight continues to have a strong government contracts practice with 42 attorneys around the U.S., said the firm’s marketing communications director Karen Schoening. “It’s been a strong performer for our firm since the early 1990s,” Schoening said. “We’re committed to ensuring it continues to grow and remain very vigorous.”
