BLANK ROME Denise Lane-White, 36, was promoted to partner at Blank Rome. Previously an associate in the intellectual property and technology practice, Lane-White concentrates on patent and trademark litigation and federal appeals. She has litigated patent cases involving pharmaceutical, software, electrical device, chemical, and mechanical technologies. She also advises clients on other intellectual property matters such as licensing and patent opinion counseling. She received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
CLIFFORD CHANCE Clifford Chance announced two new partners. Chris McIsaac, 46, former head of Winston & Strawn’s project finance practice, has joined the firm as a partner and co-head of the energy and projects group. As counsel to commercial lenders, export credit agencies, multilateral development institutions, and project sponsors, he has structured, drafted, and negotiated credit facilities involving recourse, non-recourse, mezzanine, capital lease, and offshore trust structures. He has also been an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center. McIsaac received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Lori Bean, 36, like McIsaac, is a lateral from Winston & Strawn and joined the firm’s energy and projects group. At Winston, she was a partner in the project finance group and led the global project finance practice in Europe. Bean concentrates her practice on project finance for corporate and government entities in the United States and Europe. She focuses primarily on governmental and commercial lender representation over a broad range of sectors, including power generation, oil and gas projects, airport finance, chemical production, transportation, and hotel development. Bean has served as an adjunct professor of law, teaching seminars at Georgetown University Law Center and at George Washington University Law School. She earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School.
GREENBERG TRAURIG Dawn Lurie and Fiorello Vicencio Jr. were promoted to partner at Greenberg Traurig. Lurie, 40, previously of counsel, focuses on business immigration. She works with corporate professionals in developing immigration programs that adhere to federal laws and advises on internal reviews and government audits. She leads the global outbound immigration practice group, which coordinates the immigration aspects of international employee transfers for multinational corporations worldwide. She earned her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law. Vicencio, 38, works for the corporate and securities practice. Previously an associate, he represents public and private companies, both domestically and internationally, in business and financial transactions. He is also experienced in securities law compliance matters and has worked as an attorney-adviser with the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Corporation Finance. He received his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
HODES, ULMAN, PESSIN & KATZ Vasilios Peros, 45, has joined the corporate and business law department as a partner at Hodes, Ulman, Pessin & Katz. He will head the firm’s technology and intellectual property group. Peros was previously an associate with Venable. He specializes in technology transactions, intellectual property law, business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and financing. Peros received his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. — Nathan Carlile
