NEW COUNSEL Calfee, Halter & Griswold (Cleveland): Charlie Luken joins the government relations group as senior counsel to the firm’s Columbus, Ohio, office. Luken served as mayor of Cincinnati from 1983 to 1991 and from 1999 to 2005. He also served as a congressman in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1991 to 1993. Chadbourne & Parke (New York): Robert Sidorsky joins the litigation group as counsel to the firm’s New York office. He was previously managing partner of the New York office of Amarillo, Texas-based Mullin Hoard & Brown. Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe: William Laurence Craig joins the international arbitration practice as senior counsel to the firm’s Paris office. He was previously a partner at Coudert Fr�res in Paris. Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr: Daniel Levin joins the litigation department as counsel to the firm’s Washington office. Most recently he served on the National Security Council as senior associate counsel to the president and legal adviser. Prior to that, he served in a number of positions at the Justice Department and FBI, culminating in his appointment as acting assistant attorney general for the DOJ Office of Legal Counsel in July 2004. NEW ARRIVALS Seyfarth Shaw (Chicago): Two attorneys join the construction practice group in the firm’s New York office-as of counsel, Robert A. Rubin, and as partner, Sarah B. Biser. Previously, Rubin was a founding partner, and Biser was of counsel, in the construction law firm of New York’s Postner & Rubin. LATERALS Dechert: Timothy M. Clark joins the financial services group as partner in the firm’s New York office. He was previously a partner at the New York office of Los Angeles-based Manatt, Phelps & Phillips in New York. Fulbright & Jaworski (Houston): George Dolatly joins the corporation, banking and business department as partner in the firm’s New York office. Dolatly was previously a partner at King & Spalding of Atlanta. Jones Day: Kirk Dublin joins the litigation group as partner in the firm’s San Francisco office. He was previously managing partner at Preston Gates & Ellis of Seattle. Kilpatrick Stockton (Atlanta): Three attorneys join the intellectual property practice as partners in the firm’s New York office. Lisa Pearson and Georges Nahitchevansky were both previously partners at Fross Zelnick Lehrman & Zissu of New York and Joseph Petersen was previously a partner at multinational firm Salans. FIRM PROMOTIONS Arent Fox (Washington): Fourteen attorneys have been promoted, 12 to partner and two to counsel. As partners, Barbara Bettenhausen and Thomas Castiello (real estate); Craig Engle (government relations); Caroline English, Scott Peele, Joseph Price and Savalle Sims (litigation); David Hamill (international); Murat Ozgu (intellectual property); James Ravitz (consumer products safety); and Allison Shuren and Jill Steinberg (health care). As counsel, Barry Gogel (real estate) and Nancy Noonan (international). Farella Braun + Martel (San Francisco): Three attorneys have been elevated to the partnership-in St. Helena, Calif., Katherine Philippakis (real estate); and in San Francisco, Kevin Poloncarz (environmental) and Anthony Schoenberg (commercial). Kenyon & Kenyon (New York): Six intellectual property attorneys have been named as partners and six as counsel. In New York, as partners, Jerry Canada, Robert V. Cerwinski and A.
