BAKER & HOSTETLER Melissa Maxman, 44, has joined Baker & Hostetler as a partner and head of the antitrust and trade regulations practice. She was previously an antitrust partner in the Philadelphia office of Duane Morris. She received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
GARVEY SCHUBERT BARER Garvey Schubert Barer has added two associates. Both focus on litigation, securities litigation, and arbitration and mediation. Aaron Knights, 28, previously an associate at Carr Maloney, received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law. Steve Varholik, 32, previously an associate at the Law Offices of Abe Lampert in San Francisco, received his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY LAW CENTER Three Yale Law School graduates have joined Georgetown University Law Center as associate professors of law. Gregory Klass, 38, teaches contracts and legal theory. He was previously an assistant solicitor general at the Office of the New York State Attorney General. Nicholas Quinn Rosenkranz, 34, teaches constitutional law. He was previously an attorney-adviser at the Office of Legal Counsel in the U.S. Department of Justice. Rebecca Tushnet, 32, teaches classes on copyright law, the First Amendment, law of advertising, and trademark and unfair competition law. She was previously a professor at New York University School of Law.
LERCH, EARLY & BREWER Jeremy Tucker, 30, has joined Lerch, Early & Brewer as an associate in the community associations practice. He was previously an associate in the Bethesda, Md., office of Chadwick, Washington, Moriarty, Elmore & Bunn. He received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
PILLSBURY WINTHROP SHAW PITTMAN Lynn Soukup, 49, has rejoined the D.C. office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman as a partner in the finance practice. She was previously a partner at Alston & Bird. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
TROUTMAN SANDERS Patricia Snyder, 52, has joined the D.C. office of Troutman Sanders as an of counsel in the transportation practice group. She was previously a partner at Thompson Coburn. She received her J.D. from Washington University School of Law. — Hilary Lewis
