SAN FRANCISCO Richard Nebb has joined Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro as of counsel. Nebb comes to the firm from Dergosits & Noah. He received his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law. Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass has added three associates: Eileen Chauvet to the real estate practice; Michelle La Plante to the corporate and transactional practice; and Gonzalo Martinez to litigation. Chauvet was previously with Heller Ehrman. She is a 2003 graduate of Hastings College of the Law. La Plante, who comes to the firm from Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, graduated from Hastings in 2002. Martinez, formerly of Morrison & Foerster, received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2003. SOUTH BAY Greenberg Traurig has added Elizabeth Cobey as a partner in its Silicon Valley office. Cobey comes to the firm from Cooley Godward. She received her J.D. from UC-Davis’ King Hall School of Law. Byron Mellberg has joined Hoge, Fenton, Jones & Appel as of counsel in San Jose. Mellberg, who was formerly with Ritchey Fisher Whitman & Klein, is a 1974 graduate of Hastings College of the Law. Gerald “Jerry” Barron has joined Lozano Smith’s Monterey office. Barron, who was previously with Shook, Hardy & Bacon, graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1972. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Nada Lahoud has joined Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps as an associate in the San Diego office. Lahoud, who comes to the firm from Lamb & Kawakami, graduated from Boalt Hall School of Law.
