ARENT FOX Arent Fox has elected three new partners and three counsel in its D.C. office. Stephen Bellotti, elected partner, specializes in business transactions and real estate. Bellotti, 34, graduated from American University Washington College of Law. Christopher Giaimo, also elected partner, specializes in bankruptcy law. BRYAN CAVE Thomas Zehnle has joined Bryan Cave as a partner in the corporate compliance and defense practice. Most recently, Zehnle, 43, headed the Criminal Enforcement Section for the Southern Region in the Tax Division of the Department of Justice. He received his J.D. from William & Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law. Richard Rainey, 38, has rejoined the firm as a partner after two years as a partner at Fish & Neave. He earned his J.D. from George Washington University Law School. Robert Burns, 36, has been elected partner in the Reston, Va., office. He specializes in patent litigation and received his J.D. from John Marshall Law School. L. Scott Burwell has also been elected partner in the Reston office. He specializes in intellectual property litigation. Burwell, 35, received his J.D. from Harvard Law School. Frank DeCosta III has been elected partner in the D.C. office. DeCosta, 41, focuses on litigation, licensing, client counseling, and opinion work.
