ARENT FOX Arent Fox announces the addition of nine attorneys. Christopher Rillo, 48, joins as a partner in the labor and employment and litigation practices. Previously, he was a partner at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal. Rillo received his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law, Newark, N.J. John Dwyer, 48, joins as of counsel, focusing on regulatory and transactional legal issues faced by health care services companies. Most recently, Dwyer was CEO at VetCentric, an veterinary pharmaceutical company. He graduated from Cornell Law School. Keith Schwartz, 45, joins the firm as of counsel in its real estate practice. Schwartz formerly worked as a real estate attorney for Cahill Gordon and Reindel in New York. He received his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. Stephen Candelmo, 37, joins as an associate in the corporate securities and transactions practice. Candelmo previously served as general counsel and vice president of strategic development at Procurement Technologies. He received his J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law and his L.L.M from Georgetown University Law Center. Roxanne Esch, 29, joins as an associate in the trademark group. Previously she was a legal specialist at America Online. Esch received her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law. Charles Ferguson, 31, joins as an associate, with a focus in business and real estate transactions. Most recently, Ferguson was an associate at Tenenbaum & Saas. He received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law. Lisa Miller, 36, joins as an associate, focusing on public procurement and corporate and finance law. Miller previously worked as an associate in the government contracts and procurement, and corporate and hospitality groups at Gadsby Hannah in Boston. She received her J.D. from George Washington University Law School and an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center. Patrick Neal, 27, joins as an associate, focusing in public and real estate finance. Previously, Neal was an associate at Ballard Spahr Andrews Ingersoll. He received his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law. Jeffrey Rothleder, 27, joins as an associate in the litigation practice, focusing on bankruptcy and financial restructuring. Previously, he was an associate at Ober Kaler. He received his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law. THELEN, REID & PRIEST Sheldon Kline has joined Thelen, Reid & Priest as a partner in the labor and employment department. Kline, 56, previously was a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. He earned his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. WOMBLE CARLYLE SANDRIDGE & RICE Pamela Rothenberg, a real estate attorney at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, has been named co-managing member of the firm’s D.C. office. She is sharing the leadership with Paul Kaplan, who has served as a managing member since 1998.
