Previously special counsel to Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, he is currently president of the New York State Bar Association. Jackson Lewis: LeRoy J. Murtagh, chairman of the litigation section at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo of Boston, has been nominated by Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney to serve as an associate justice of state superior court. Robert R. Merhige Jr. is the recipient of two awards: the Samuel E.
