She received her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law. GREENBERG TRAURIG Fred Zeidman has joined Greenberg Traurig as a senior director of governmental affairs. Prior to joining Greenberg, Zeidman, 58, was the managing partner of WoodRock & Co. KIRKPATRICK & LOCKHART Phillip Kardis II has joined Kirkpatrick & Lockhart as of counsel in the commercial finance practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Kardis, 43, was with McKee Nelson. He earned his J.D. at Georgetown University Law Center. MCGUIREWOODS Michelle Gambino has joined the Tysons Corner, Va., office of McGuireWoods as an associate in the commercial litigation department. Jorling, 45, received his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. SCHNADER HARRISON Timothy Lewis has been named co-chair of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis’ appellate practice group. Lewis, 49, is a former judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He earned his J.D. from Duquesne University Law School. STEPTOE & JOHNSON Shannen Coffin, 34, has rejoined Steptoe & Johnson as a partner in the litigation department. Most recently, Coffin served as deputy assistant attorney general, federal programs branch, in the Department of Justice’s Civil Division. He graduated from Georgetown University Law Center.
