The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected a Pennsylvania redistricting challenge brought by Democrats who claimed that Republicans abused their power in the process and set out to eliminate as many Democratic incumbents as possible. But the court didn't go as far as Republicans had asked because it left the door open to future challenges claiming that party politics overly influenced election maps.
