CARR MALONEY D.C.’s Carr Maloney has promoted former associate Tina Maiolo to partner. Maiolo, 33, practices employment and civil rights law. She graduated from the College of William & Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law. COCHRAN & OWEN Vienna, Va.’s Cochran & Owen has added two lawyers. Partner Patrick Kennedy, 43, focuses on trusts and estates, business, tax planning, and asset protection. Kennedy was most recently of counsel at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey in Tysons Corner, Va. He graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Associate Benje Selan, 29, practices employment law and commercial litigation. He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law. DAVIS WRIGHT TREMAINE Davis Wright Tremaine has promoted Daniel Adamson, 43, to the partnership in the Washington, D.C., office. Most recently counsel, Adamson is in the firm’s energy and environmental and natural resources practices. He is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center. KENYON & KENYON Kenyon & Kenyon has promoted four associates to partner in its Washington, D.C., office. John Hutchins, 34, focuses on patent-related matters including litigation, client counseling, and license negotiations. Hutchins graduated from Harvard Law School. John McGroarty focuses on patent procurement and evaluation, and counseling. McGroarty, 36, holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Gary Morris specializes in patent, trademark, and copyright issues related to information technology. Morris, 42, graduated from Georgetown University Law Center. C. Kyle Musgrove focuses on patent litigation with an emphasis in the pharmaceutical, medical, biological, and chemical arts. Musgrove, 33, received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law. REED SMITH Reed Smith has added two partners to its Washington, D.C., office. Sanjoy Bose, 39, has joined the firm’s financial services practice. Formerly a partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, he is a graduate of the College of William & Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law. Susan de Mars, former senior vice president of government affairs and general counsel for AdvancePCS Inc., has joined the firm’s health care group. De Mars, 43, is a Harvard Law School graduate. SIDLEY AUSTIN BROWN & WOOD Patrick Morrisey has joined Sidley Austin Brown & Wood as a partner in the firm’s health care group. Morrisey, 36, was most recently deputy staff director and chief health counsel to the House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee. He is a graduate of Rutgers School of Law. SKADDEN ARPS Antoinette Cook Bush has rejoined Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom as a partner in its D.C. office. Bush, 47, represents companies in administrative, legislative, and transactional matters involving communications issues, and other legislative matters. Bush attended Northwestern University School of Law. WOMBLE CARLYLE James Kearney, 53, has joined Womble Carlyle as a partner. He works out of the D.C. and Tysons Corner, Va., offices. Kearney focuses on government contracts, export controls, and international trade.
