McGuireWoods is consolidating two Manhattan offices into a new location at 1345 Avenue of the Americas. The firm, which has about 750 lawyers in 15 offices, in the United States, Brussels and Kazakhstan, recently signed a long-term sublease for the entire seventh floor, 40,000 square feet, in the 50-story glass and steel tower between West 54th and West 55th streets. The new office is joining staff from McGuireWoods offices from 65 East 55th Street and 9 West 57th Street. William J. Strickland, managing partner of McGuireWoods handled the negotiations for the firm, with William A. Newman, managing partner of the New York office, and William F. Gieg, partner. The sublessor, Accenture, was represented by D. Scott Hargadon of Lord, Bissell & Brook. Brokers representing McGuireWoods were Moshe Sukenik, Arthur Rosenbloom and Christine Claffey of Newmark & Co. Real Estate, Inc. Mitchell S. Steir, Matthew Barlow, John Mambrino and Michael Less of Julien J. Studley, Inc. represented Accenture.

The Garden Club of America has extended its lease for the third floor at 14 East 60th Street for seven years. The club leases 8,800 square feet. It shares the building between Fifth and Madison avenues with the Central Park Conservancy, among other tenants. The lease terms were not disclosed. The Garden Club was represented in lease negotiations by Stephen J. Schreiber, counsel of Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler. Robert A. Rubenfeld, partner a Todtman, Nachamie, Spizz & Johns, represented the landlord, Omabuild Corp. The Garden Club of America aims to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening by hosting educational meetings and conferences, and to promote environmental stewardship and programs with educational and conservation programs. It offers scholarships in various horticultural fields. William S. Fressle of Cushman & Wakefield served as the broker for the landlord. Paul V. Ippolito of Newmark represented the Garden Club.
