Vornado Realty Trust to Sell Palisades Project for $222.5M Vornado Realty Trust of Paramus, a real estate investment trust, announced last Monday that its 75 percent owned joint venture will sell Palisades Project, a 538-unit, residential tower in Fort Lee, for $222.5 million to Crescent Heights Acquisitions Inc. of Miami, a developer. Hewlett-Packard To Buy Novadigm Hewlett-Packard agreed last Wednesday to pay $116.5 million for Novadigm of Mahwah, a developer of asset management software. HP provides high-tech products to businesses and consumers. Measurement Specialties Inc. Sells Scale Business for $12.7M Conair Corp. of Stamford, Conn., a maker of health and beauty products and kitchen and electronic appliances, agreed last Monday to pay $12.7 million for the Thinner brand of bathroom and kitchen scales owned by Fairfield’s Measurement Specialties Inc., which makes test and measurement instruments. MyDocOnline Sold for $6.9M Zix Corporation of Dallas, a provider of e-mail software and services that link patients, physicians, pharmacies and other health-care professionals, announced on Jan. 30 its $6.9 million purchase of MyDocOnline, a provider of online-based healthcare services. MyDocOnline is a subsidiary of Aventis Pharmaceuticals of Bridgewater, the North American pharmaceuticals business of Aventis of Strasbourg, France. Integra LifeSciences Pays $1.5M for SPARTA Line of Instruments Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corp. of Plainsboro announced last Tuesday that it paid $1.5 million for the SPARTA line of disposable critical care devices and surgical instruments from Fleetwood Medical Inc. of Roseville, Calif., which makes surgical devices.
