On Friday, the court will consider Hamdi v. Rumsfeld , which tests the rights of an American citizen captured overseas and held in the U.S. as an enemy combatant. Also to be considered is Center for National Security Studies v. Department of Justice , that seeks to release the names of those detained by the government.
