With one terrorism-related case on its docket, the Supreme Court is poised to add two more, setting the stage for a term dominated by issues of civil liberties in the time of war. On Friday, the court will consider Hamdi v. Rumsfeld , which tests the rights of an American citizen captured overseas and held in the U.S. as an enemy combatant. Also to be considered is Center for National Security Studies v. Department of Justice , that seeks to release the names of those detained by the government.
