BRACEWELL & PATTERSON Penelope “Gari” Lister has joined Bracewell & Patterson as partner in its D.C. corporate securities section. Formerly a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, Lister will focus on antitrust counseling and litigation. Lister, 38, holds a J.D. from George Washington University School of Law. BUCHANAN INGERSOLL Buchanan Ingersoll expands its government contracts practice group with the addition of Susan Warshaw Ebner, who joins as special counsel in the D.C. office. Ebner, 48, was of counsel at Fortney & Scott and earned her law degree at Cornell Law School. EPSTEIN BECKER & GREEN Epstein Becker & Green expands its health law practice with the addition of three first-year associates in the District. Jason Caron, 25, was a research and teaching assistant at the Center for Health and Homeland Security at the University of Maryland. Caron holds a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law. Julianna Gonen, 36, was an associate professor for the Department of Population and Family Health Sciences at Johns Hopkins University. Gonen earned her law degree at Georgetown University Law Center. Jessica Swartz, 26, was a 2002 summer associate at the firm. She received her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law. GORDON, FEINBLATT Alison Goldenberg has been elected partner in the Baltimore office of Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman, Hoffberger & Hollander. Goldenberg had been a senior associate. She specializes in complex commercial and business litigation. Goldenberg, 37, is a graduate of Thomas M. Cooley School of Law. SANDLER, TRAVIS & ROSENBERG Deane “Dee” Johnson has joined the D.C. office of Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg as of counsel in the firm’s international trade and customs practice. She will concentrate on establishing business programs and practices that satisfy U.S. Customs requirements and improve the efficiency of import/export-related activities for pharmaceutical and other FDA-regulated clients. Prior to joining Sandler, Travis, Johnson was a partner at Collier Shannon Scott. Before that, she was corporate counsel at the Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., where she worked for 25 years.
