The new partners include David Owens, based in the firm’s Palo Alto office. Owens, who received his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1995, focuses on intellectual property litigation and patent and trademark prosecution. Three of the partners are based in New York, including patent prosecutor Margaret Brivanlou, who graduated from Harvard Law School in 1995; patent prosecutor Matthew Langer, a 1998 graduate of Fordham University School of Law; and litigator Leo Merken, a 1995 graduate of Columbia Law School.
