FRAUD Mohammed Al Fayed, 74, the father of Dodi Fayed, the man who was killed in an automobile crash along with Diana, Princess of Wales, settled his lawsuit on March 5 against Keith Fleer, then an attorney with Tennenbaum, Emmanuel & Fleer and now practicing with Loeb & Loeb. He claimed that Fleer approached him claiming to represent people having CIA documents showing that the deaths were an assassination carried out at the behest of the British spy agency, MI6. After wiring them a $25,000 downpayment on what would be a $15 million purchase, Al Fayed contacted the CIA and FBI and discovered that the documents were forgeries. As part of the settlement, Fleer issued a written apology and contributed $100,000 to a charity established in Dodi Fayed’s memory. Al Fayed v. Fleer, No. BC213751 (Los Angeles Co., Calif., Super. Ct.). PLAINTIFF’S ATTORNEYS: Joseph Kibre and Norman S.
