Feb. 18 General Membership Meeting The Legal Assistants Association of New Jersey will hold its general membership meeting at 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, Totowa. The guest speaker will be Vito Gagliardi of Porzio, Bromberg & Newman in Morristown, who will speak about “Breaking Out of the Employment Law Maze.” The cost is $24 for members and $26 for nonmembers. Feb. 24 CLM Study Session New Jersey Association of Legal Administrators will hold its Certified Legal Manager study session at the law office of Budd Larner Rosenbaum Greenberg & Sade in Short Hills. Barry Jackson is the CLM of Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt in New York and will conduct the session on “Finance Basics.” The study session is scheduled for 6 to 8:45 p.m. This is strictly a study session and will not include refreshments. March 9 Bus Trip UCLSA . . . the association for legal professionals will sponsor a bus trip to the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City. The bus will leave from the Union County Courthouse in Elizabeth at 8:30 a.m. and make another pickup at the Cheesequake Rest Stop on the Garden State Parkway.
