She is just the 10th person to serve as dean in the school’s 78-year history. She is also the first woman to hold the position at McGeorge.

A noted expert in national security matters, Parker most recently served as general counsel for the University of Wisconsin System. Prior to that, she served 11 years with the federal government, including stints at the National Security Agency, the State Department and the CIA.
