With the last of the term’s 18 9th Circuit cases decided Monday, the circuit finished with a respectable 71 percent reversal rate. But that number masks the fact that in some cases, including a couple that could fairly be considered blockbusters, the circuit had trouble picking up any votes at all. Seven times the 9th Circuit was reversed unanimously.

But those who follow the court gave the 9th Circuit a passing grade.
