“This job is just too great,” Hallinan said, adding that he thinks he’ll win easily.
Hallinan has been mum in recent months in the face of speculation that he may either run again for DA, run for mayor or retire. Several candidates have expressed interest in the DA job; some have said they would not run if Hallinan did.
