Surrogate GiganteESTATE OF JANE AZZOPARDI, Deceased (18/168/B) — In this proceeding petitioner Mario Azzopardi, son of the decedent Jane Azzopardi, has requested, pursuant to EPTL 2-1.11(c), an extension of time to file and serve renunciations of the distributive shares of Amy Azzopardi and Stephanie Azzopardi.All the necessary parties to this proceeding have submitted consents for the relief requested. In addition, the petitioner has shown the existence of reasonable cause to grant an extension of time to file renunciations. The Court is satisfied that the requirements for valid renunciations under the statute have been met herein (Matter of Palmeri, 75 Misc2d 639, 348 NYS2d 711, aff’d 45 AD2d 726, 356 NYS 348, aff’d wo opin, 36 NY2d 895, 372 NYS2d 646).Accordingly, Amy Azzopardi and Stephanie Azzopardi are authorized to renounce said interests. Further, the time to file and serve renunciations pursuant to EPTL 2-1.11 is extended for sixty (60) days from the date of this decision.This decision shall constitute the Order of the Court.Dated: December 26, 2018

ESTATE OF BETTY ANN FOOTE A/K/A BETTY FOOTE A/K/A BETTY MCDONOUGH FOOTE, Deceased (13/355) — In this estate circumstances exist which may affect the interest of David McDonough, a distributee, who is an incapacitated person, thereby requiring the appointment of a Guardian ad Litem pursuant to SCPA 403(2).Accordingly, the Court appoints Anthony S. Danna, Esq., as the Guardian ad Litem to protect the interest of such party. The appointment is effective upon the Guardian ad Litem filing Form UCS 872 entitled “Notice of Appointment and Certification of Compliance,” and upon the Guardian ad Litem duly qualifying pursuant to Uniform Rules for the Surrogate’s Court Section 207.13(A).This decision shall constitute the Order of the Court. Dated: November 1, 2018
