Companies that want to get more out of their money when it comes to legal spend may want to look to the Association of Corporate Counsel’s 2015 Value Champions as examples to follow. Every year, the ACC, a global organization that promotes the professional and business interests of in-house counsel, honors law departments (in some cases along with their law firm or legal services partners) that have excelled at generating savings and better and more predictable outcomes for their organizations.

The honors, which were given to 12 companies this year, are part of the ACC Value Challenge, an initiative that provides training and resources for in-house counsel and their outside partners that want to generate change in the legal industry through better use of tactics such as value-based fee arrangements, efficient use of technology and process improvement.
